My (belated) Easter Greeting!


It's that time of the year again, colourful eggs, all sorts of special sweets that cruelly tempt me, flowers, and... bunnies.  As if the santa hat for Christmas was not bad enough, mamma dared to try to make funny bunny ears with my own fine feline ears.  Ok, enough is enough, even a supermodel has to draw a line at certain point, so I hid under the bed and sulked, so she had to make do with the above picture...  heheh, Oliver 1, mamma 0!!


They brought in this big shiny object, I liked the noise the wrapper made and the ribbon, but the Humpty Dumpty thing was HUGE and rather scary looking, I decided to stay away.


Daddy made an enormous batch of Pastiera Napoletana, a rich cake with ricotta, eggs and grains.  It smelled so good but I was banned from eating it because they insisted it was too sweet for me... is there such a thing exist as "too sweet"???  However mamma gave me a generous serving of excellent sheep milk ricotta, so I came out of sulking round °2 and heartily enjoyed it :-)


I hope everyone enjoyed a lovely, yummy, colourful Easter, and to my Russian friends, I wish you С праздником Пасхи next Sunday!!!

      Same to you auntie Kat, Shannon, Giles and Lasher!! <3 I believe the cake IS indeed delicious, guessing from the ricotta I tasted! They made a monster size as big as myself, but hogging it all for themselves... greedy humans! :-(

    These big bunny ears look even better! You are so very adorable, precious Oliver! The sheep ricotta looks so yummy, MoonShadow and Cisco want to share some! They have been getting daily spoonfuls of yogurt (helps with you know what). :)

      Auntie Connie, sheep ricotta is even better than the cow ones, richer and creamier!!! Do they sell it in the US? I hope Moonshadow and Cisco will get a taste of it some day, oh and I like the yogurt too, the vanilla flavour!!! :-D

      Oh, yes auntie, I must agree, my presence make any picture awesome! :-D I hope you are enjoying the double Easter celebration, and the weather is nice... I hear it snowed in Russia and it became quite chilly last night also in Rome!!! целую и обнимаю, and мурррр!!! :-)

      thank mew auntie Mara! the cake looks really good, though mamma wouldn't let me taste it... there is still some left in the fridge I think, let me see if I can sneak and ship it to you... ;-)
